MARINE DEBRIS

Plastic waste is one of the biggest threats to the world’s oceans. More than 8 million tonnes of plastic leak into the ocean each year – the equivalent of dumping a garbage truck of plastic every minute. Plastic waste harms wildlife, damages marine ecosystems and causes adverse impacts to human health.

With that information, our students wrote a simple essay to, again, advocate the importance of taking care of the environment and using less to zero plastics. Then with the essay they wrote, we asked a help from professional illustrator to put the students’ essay in a persuasive digital poster.
